Belarusian post-punk group Molchat Doma made a trip to Roadrunner this past week, the second Boston stop for the group in the past year following a more-than-successful show last spring at the Royale.
A seamless blend of 1980s inspired synth-pop and modern post-punk, Molchat Doma transcend language barriers and immediately forged a connection by virtue of their sound alone. Unmatched in their uniqueness, Molchat Doma delivered a sonically stunning set, packed with infectious bass lines and cloudy hypnotic vocals from singer Egor Shkutko.
